Our Rig

Our test bed is a silver 2013 Ford Raptor SVT with the 6.2L V8 and 35-inch tires. We added a heavy-duty bed rack to carry gear without compromising the truck's factory balance or suspension travel. This specific combination gives us a consistent baseline for every piece of equipment we evaluate. The truck is old enough to have settled in but robust enough to handle years of hard use, which keeps our data points stable over time.

We run everything on this rig because gear that works on paper often fails in the field. We take items across dry lake beds, through deep snow, and along long stretches of remote backroads. The truck's weight and power let us test how equipment performs under real load rather than just in a showroom.
